Suddenly my Asus ROG-Strix started to whine and grind, fan wise. The vibration could be felt through the keyboard/top of the laptop. The Asus Armoury Crate showed that it was the System Fan, rather than the GPU or CPU, the smaller of the three in the outer middle. Rather than only purchase the single fan I opted for the 3-fan set, as the others would possibly require replacement later. Well packed and protected the fans matched 1:1 and I proceeded to replace the smaller System Fan, only. Perfect, seamless and working like new again. I couldn’t be happier, thank you.
