There were a few xmall differences between this model and the original one in the x270 laptop, but they were identical enough. It was easier to install then I feared. All's well and the laptop now has a nice ***quiet*** fan. Great communication and the seller and the item arrived sooner than I expected. fwiw I'm in Montreal, Canada.
