The fan was sent and received quickly and initially looked OK. Physically it fit in my Dell Latitude 7420 very well. However, after turning the laptop on, the fan would constantly work with maximum speed, even right after cold start. The BIOS log was showing “Fan malfunction”. I decided to return it. The item had a “free returns” policy. This is when the seller started playing games – instead of a proper return label, I got a label that was used to send the item _to_ me. Then they argued they cannot acceppt the return as everything is OK from their perspective. Finally agreed with my request and fully refunded me the product. Bringing up this story so potential future buyers are aware.
